How to recover from Crash: Com Error in QuickBooks Desktop
Many times it happens that we face many errors while working
on QuickBooks
Software. There are several solutions of every problem in QB. One
of the error which is quite dominant is Crash: Com error. Microsoft has
launched a cover for Office that will, in many examples, solution for the COM

Set up Outlook as default mail app
·
Go to Control Panel > Default Programs >

In MS Outlook, choose the File menu.
·
Choose Add Account to start setup.

Enter the email address you want to add and choose

then choose OK.

Choose OK to complete setup.
You should always remember that If QB system is not able to notice
Outlook, you may need to restart the computer and fix QB and you may also need
to make a new windows user account. If this new windows account does not detect
Outlook in QuickBooks preferences, fix your QB.
Solution 3: if above mentioned steps doesn’t solve your
problem, follow these steps

Go to Control panel > Mail.
·
Choose Microsoft Outlook.
·
In the Mail Setup window, choose Show Profile.
·
Toggle the choose ion back to always use this
profile and Apply.
·
Choose OK.
·
Close Microsoft Outlook
·
Go to the Control Panel > Mail.
·
Choose Show Profiles...
·
Click Add...
·
Enter the name for the profile under Profile
Name and click OK.
·
Add an email account to use in your profile by
following the directions on the screen.
·
Always use this profile, choose the drop-down, choose
the newly created profile, click Apply then OK.
Solution 5: if above mentioned steps doesn’t solve your
problem, follow these steps

mode section

There will a drop-down menu, choose Windows 7.
